Ant Hill

Watching the Ant Hill I sit beside

The dwellings of the weak

A colony where the strong reside

A species at its peak

A force the world of small abides

The Power that they seek

With a lazy hand, I sweep aside

an army with a streak

Without a place an ant can hide

the strong become the weak

And standing up with unearned pride

I have no right to speak.
